William Scadlock

Born Sutton-in-the-Forest, Yorkshire; died Saco, Maine 1662, known as a "planter"

1636 - was before the Saco court for drunkeness
1638 - had a house on the westside of the Saco River
1653 - Town Clerk
1661 - granted 300 acres
1662 - died

A small falls on the Little River was called Scadlock Falls.

William left a will which was described as peculiar in character.

The History of Saco and Biddeford records a civil suit, Wm. Scadlock against Morgan Howell.
